So She Writes

Bite Off the Hand that Starves You

In rural America we're surrounded by farms
but without food stamps millions would starve.
Supply company consolidation
feeds corporate growth they call inflation.
With demand they line their pockets,
fueling bought-power and crypto wallets.
Fist over fist, feasting on our misery.
Licking their chops, devouring our humanity.
Gluttony reigns as they lap up the crumbs,
but soon they'll hear the heartbeat drums.
Profit portions only grow
by keeping worker servings low.
Hungry neighbors plan strikes in masses
to shut down the economy of fascists.
The demand we supply will come to cease.
Together we'll end the overlord beasts.
