I believe in human rights, an equitable society, environmental and social justice, and empathy as a core aspect of humanity. Fascism isn't new in the US, I do not pledge allegiance to the flag, Black Lives Matter, Fuck ICE, there are no ethical billionaires, Free Palestine, no one is free until we're all free.
I write about US politics, my perspective on social issues and dynamics, and sometimes about being a new mom (due 9-23-26). The world is a dark place. I used to think there were more good people than bad. But when I realized the difference between nice people and good people, it opened my eyes to a potentially sad reality—I'm not so sure anymore. But in a society with perhaps more darkness than light, it's all the more important to shine as bright as one possibly can.
